The venerable art of lost-wax casting is a technique used since ancient times.  I did my first bronze pour in 1991 as an art student at Ball State University and was hooked. I was fascinated by the intense and complex process, and enamored by the beauty of the material.  It still awes me to be part of this 5,000 year old practice.
